Hackers Can Be Funny Too. They Always Start With Their Neighbours.

Hacking has always been something very bad (well that is what people will think). Usually the perception of hackers is that they are this mean guys who sit with a Vendetta mask behind a keyboard and steal money from the bank or hack into the government facilities and steal confidential information. But there is this guy who is saying that why want to make hacking a bad thing, let’s make it a fun thing. For both hackers and the users (we hope they get fun). So this guy by the name Joshua Wright a.k.a. Will Hack For Sushi Guy created a virtual machine that is fun enough that can make the users (that we going to lure) either laugh their ass of or get irritated and annoyed.

The concept is pretty simple. It’s about creating a Fake AP and open it to public. Your neighbours (those who don’t have WiFi but loves to use free WiFi) Will definitely get lured to this Access Point (AP) and connect their laptop. Once connected, the AP will react as what command you enter or you want it to execute on that time. All the request sent by your victim will go through a proxy called Squid proxy. It will alter all the request depending on which script you execute on that particular time. There are a lot of ways and scripts to have fun and if you have your own fun way of pranking your neighbour  you can add in the repository as well. Cool enough eh.

For this you just need 2 things. One the VM to be downloaded from here and an external USB WiFi adapter. This external WiFi adapter is the signal transmitter that your victim will connect and get trapped: P (make sure it can cover a quite large geographic location). So once you have this 2 things, you can start playing. Just run the VM and you will be prompted for the Username and Password. The username and password will be given in the VM itself. In case you do not know,

Username: root

Password: sec617

Once you logged in, you run this command (they will have it on the screen once you logged in);

                                                                                             ./neighbor.sh

And there you go, small prank scripts you can run one at a time to prank your victims. My personal favorite is noGoogleBing.pl. As we know, everyone uses Google. From testing Internet connection to finding something, Google is the first place they go. Upon executing the script, you actually force the user who type google.com to bing.com. No matter how many time they type google.com the only place they go is bing.com. Frustrating it will be they might break the laptop in two. Lolx. You won’t get lost using this VM as it is well documented and easy to use. So have fun using it. Please remember, this is not done for any type of profit but only for FUN. 100% FUN.
